Bucharest, October 2026 – ProcessPlayer has been fully implemented at Distribuție Energie Electrică Română (DEER), the electricity distribution operator serving over 3.8 million consumers. It is the largest deployment of the platform to date and a landmark project for procurement digitalization in Romania’s utilities sector.
DEER operates in 18 counties and applies Law 99/2016 on sectoral procurement. Its purchasing activity is spread across many departments and territorial units, which made coordination, traceability and unified planning a constant challenge.

What changed
With ProcessPlayer, procurement needs are initiated, approved and tracked in a single environment. Approval flows follow DEER’s real organizational hierarchy, so each request reaches the right decision-makers without manual circulation of documents.
The PAAS is now managed centrally. Management has real-time visibility over planned and executed procurement across the entire company, while individual departments continue to submit and track their own needs.
